- Great story starter. It gives you a character and scenario and you have to write the story in the form of a letter, post card or newspaper. There is also an option to draw a picture. Although this scholastic webpage is designed for 1-6 grades, it would also be a fun activity to do with adults. It could be a good light HW assignment to get the creative juices flowing.
